Recycled Silk Items

Our silk is reclaimed from the weaving of high quality saris. Once the sari is completed, it is quite literally cut from the loom and the remaining threads are handspun into beautiful yarn from which our silk products are made. As all these items are entirely handmade in Nepal, each piece is unique, so some variation in colour is to be expected. Many suppliers in Nepal are now imitating this lovely yarn using rayon. Those products are often labelled 100% silk. We would like to reasssure you that our products really are silk.
